Darrell was born to inspire and motivate!  He began his public speaking career at 18 as a freshman at Morehouse College, when he wrote his first book, Daring to Be Different (2004).  Since then, he has been featured on CNN and CBS News and has spoken in over a dozen nations on three continents. 

Darrell has also delivered over 1000 public speeches at colleges, companies, churches and conventions globally, including at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, International Baccalaureate World Conference, Boys' State, Southern Baptist Convocation and the International Knowledge Festival.  His impact has been felt from Fortune 500 companies to maximum-security prisons to Ivy League universities.

Over the years, however, his goal has shifted from simply motivation to mentorship as well, which he defines as transformation that leads to one empowering many.
