Darrell J. Bennett works with nations, institutions, and organizations to design and implement transformational initiatives that uplift people, restore identity, and create pathways to long-term stability and prosperity.

 

One such initiative is The Harlem I.M.P.A.C.T. Project, in New York City —an intensive, classroom-based immersion that demonstrates this approach in practice.

What We Built

The Harlem I.M.P.A.C.T. Project, in New York City, was designed and led by Bennett to support men rebuilding their lives after long-term incarceration. Rather than focusing on a single outcome, the project created a holistic learning environment that addressed mindset, spiritual alignment, practical life skills, and career readiness together.

​

Over an eight-week immersion, participants engaged in rigorous, discussion-driven instruction delivered directly by Bennett, supported by guest professionals and employer partners.​

Partnerships

The project was piloted in Harlem in partnership with a major social impact organization serving formerly incarcerated men and supported by funding from the New York State Department of State.

​

Partners included:

• Employers who hosted internships and hired participants

• Financial and business professionals who provided specialized instruction

• Case management teams who supported accountability and outcome tracking

 

Darrell J. Bennett designed the curriculum, taught the core instruction, vetted participants, coordinated partners, and oversaw readiness for internships and employment.

Building a Global Model

The Harlem I.M.P.A.C.T. Project, New York City, now serves as a foundational example of work being adapted for broader application.

The same principles and instructional framework are being positioned for:

• Institutional and organizational partnerships

• International trainings and deployments

• Government and NGO collaboration
